The Eastern Cape, in February
Travel & stay
The farm sits inland between Jeffreys Bay and St Francis Bay, about an hour from Port Elizabeth. Most guests fly into Port Elizabeth, hire a car, and stay in one of the coastal towns nearby.

By road
Driving
Hire cars are available at Port Elizabeth airport (Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Bidvest). The drive is an easy stretch of the N2 — one road, almost the whole way. The last few kilometres are farm road, so take it slowly and don't trust your GPS blindly at night.
Getting home
Cabs & shuttles
The same operators do airport runs and late-night pick-ups, so one number covers both ends of the weekend. Book directly, a few days ahead — the farm is out of town.

Where to stay
Three coastal towns sit within half an hour of the farm. Jeffreys Bay is closest and cheapest, St Francis Bay is the prettiest holiday, and Cape St Francis is the quietest. You can't go wrong.
February is peak South African summer and the coast fills up early. If you're planning to come, book somewhere as soon as you've RSVP'd — you can almost always cancel later, but you can't conjure a room in February.
